From February to March
Plum blossom is regarded as the city flower of Nanjing and stands for elegance, enthusiasm and undaunted perseverance. It may be seen mostly in the following spots: Plum Blossom Valley of Xiaoling Tomb of Ming Dynasty, Plum Blossom Hill, Rain-Flower Terrace, Zhongshan Botanical Garden, Gulin Park, Xuanwu Lake, Pearl Spring Tourism Resort and various university campuses.
Winter jasmine stands for eternal love and could be seen mostly in the Qinhuai River Scenic Area, Egret Island Park, Rain-Flower Terrace, Xianlin campus of Nanjing University and Xianlin campus of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
From February to April
Phalaenopsis stands for "I love you" and could be seen mostly in Agricultural and Eco-tourism Village of Suoshi and Phalaenopsis Planting Base in Ma'an town.
